The main glass and class project the Latin School of Chicago will be doing is a large version of their school mascot. We drew a window cartoon for them based off a picture that they provided. From that cartoon we are able to work with them in a step-by-step process making a stained glass window just as we would do for one of our custom pieces. The intent was that it would be an ongoing project for them during this week in between doing all the other glass art like fusing, lampworking, glaskolben and mosaics. Well, they seem to have caught on with the stained glass and the window is almost all cut and its just the end of the first day as you can see in the picture. Maybe the cleaning and foiling will slow them down a little, but I wouldn’t count on it seeing how well they have done so far. Nice Job guys!
