Studio Announcements

We will be closing early today (October 31st) at 4:00 PM so that we can take our “lil punkin” trick or treating for the first time.  We will be open regular hours tomorrow and Saturday. Next week we will be hosting Michael Dupille at our studio for his “Fritography” class.  We will be open regular hours for retail on Tuesday but will not hold classes or be open for studio time.  Clients, students and customers are invited to stop by on Tuesday to see what our “Fritography” students have created.

Construction on Arthur Avenue

We received a “Construction Notification” last week regarding Arthur Avenue.  That construction was begun yesterday and will be underway for the next 4-6 weeks.  Currently the north entrance to our parking lot is closed off.  The southern entrance is open.  We are receiving new gutters, sewer lines, driveway entrances and at some point they will be resurfacing the entire street.  We will try to keep you updated on the status of the project, and we ask for your patience while this project is underway.  Arthur continues to be blocked at the railway tracks, however you can reach our street from the north either by Arlington Heights Road or by going east of Arthur on Northwest Highway and going under the tracks at the underpass then returning west to Arthur.  Or you can get to Arthur from the south by finding your way to Central Road.  If you have questions, please call or email us!!

2014 Calendar Is Now On-line!

For those of you who have been trying to schedule your Introductory class with your Groupon, LivingSocial or AmazonLocal voucher, we now have our 2014 calendar posted on the website through June, 2014.  You can check out the calendar by clicking on the “Calendar” tab at the top of the homepage.  To read the calendar class descriptions more easily use the “Agenda” format for the calendar.  You may call or email us to register for a class.  Registration cannot be done through the website.  Please remember that we keep class sizes small to make it a more enjoyable experience for everyone involved so you may want to have more than one date chosen when you call just in case the first class you want is full.  Also, keep in mind that we will do private classes for groups of 5 or more so you can call for that information as well.  Thanks for your patience!

Start Of The Church Windows

We have started the Messiah Lutheran Church windows. So, if you come in and see some beautiful church windows on the tables or in the windows, those are the ones we are working on. Messiah Lutheran Church is enlarging their Narthex so we had to remove the windows and are now rehabbing and repairing the windows as needed.  The repair work is going to a mixture of cleaning, removing paint, repairing water damage, soldering bar back on that has come off and gluing cracked pieces of glass.
