Announcing New Fusing Demonstrations

Twice a month we will be offering Fusing Demonstrations at the studio for those interested in taking their fusing to the next level.  Come in and see how to move from boring to dramatic!  Our first demonstration is scheduled for Thursday, May 9th at 7:00 PM  and will focus on creating Jewelry Pendants that move beyond the simple to pieces that become family heirlooms.  Stained Glass students, don’t despair, this same technique can be used to create interesting pieces to incorporate into your stained glass panel.  All are welcome, just let us know you are coming by calling the studio or sending us an email.  Cost is just $5.00 which you may pay the night of the demo.

Layering Dichroic Glass:  learn how to layer Dichroic glass to create unique jewelry pieces or cabochons.  Demonstrations will also be given on the use of a Dremel tool for etching your finished piece, how to incorporate sepia and enamel decals, use of a wet band saw for shaping and cold-working techniques for finishing your piece. Please call the studio and sign up to reserve your spot for the demonstration.  You don’t have to have any experience with fusing, just come and watch the magic happen.
